Once her children were grown, she was secretary to the Building Inspector for the Town of Easton and later secretary to the First Selectman. Peg was active in her parish and was one of the first women to be a Holy Eucharistic Minister. Never a dull moment when Peg was around. She always had a project brewing, whether it was refinishing furniture, making crafts or sewing. She had a green thumb and a passion for gardening.

She loved to be outside working in her yard. Peg loved to tag sale on Saturdays with her friends or watching the Yankees and also spending time with her husband and family. She is survived by her husband, Ed and her 6 children: Linda (Michael), Wendy, David (Elise), Jeff (Pat), Matthew (Susan), Mary (Scott), 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Peg was a loving, caring, wife, mother and friend. She has touched the hearts of everyone she knew. She will be missed by all. Funeral services are private. Arrangements by Carpino Funeral Home, Southbury.
