Obituary: Nancy H. Stammelman, of Southbury

Nancy was full of life and will be greatly missed by her family and will always be remembered for her accomplishments.

Nancy H. Stammelman, a resident of Southbury, CT, formerly of Spring Valley, NY, died unexpectedly on October 20, 2018. She was 79 years old. Born in the Bronx, NY on July 17, 1939, to Joan Y. Hoffman and Max Hoffman, she was employed as a Risk Manager at Pascack Valley Hospital until her retirement in 2003.

Nancy is survived by her loving husband, Joseph, and her brother, Robert Hoffman and his spouse Donna. She is also survived by her three adoring children and their significant others: Sally and Sam Mandelbaum, Jonathan Stammelman and Terri Sobol, and Bill Stammelman and Saunie Williams, and by her six cherished grandchildren: Jason, Danielle (“Danny”), Michael, Rachel, Bryan, and Sydney. Nancy was full of life and will be greatly missed by her family and will always be remembered for her accomplishments in knitting, crotchet, and needlepoint, and also for her strong family values, caring nature, and convictions.
