Obituary: Norma N. Dorsey, 82, of Southbury

Southbury – Norma N. Dorsey, 82, formerly of Grace Meadows, died Thursday, Dec. 22nd in River Glen Health Care Center.

She was the widow of Frank J. Dorsey. Mrs. Dorsey was born May 20, 1934, in New Canaan, CT, daughter of the late Nicola and Christina Cerretani. She loved to cook, especially for her family. She and her husband enjoyed motorcycling for many years, travelling across the country. She also enjoyed reading, bingo, exercise class and trips to museums and Mohegan Sun.

She raised her family in Stamford before moving to Waterbury. She later moved to Southbury. She leaves three daughters, Diana Dorsey Austin of New Milford, Gail Brown and her husband, Dennis, of Missouri and Judith Dlugozina of Florida; her brother, Michael Cerretini of New Canaan; 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She is pre-deceased by her son, Frank J. Dorsey Jr.

Burial will follow in Bucks Hill Cemetery, Waterbury. No calling hours. Arrangements by Carpino Funeral Home, Southbury.
