Obituary: Susan Mary Sheehan, 50, Formerly Of Southbury

Venice FL – Susan Mary Sheehan, 50, passed away after a brief illness on September 10 , 2017 at Fawcett Memorial Hospital in Port Charlotte, FL.

She graduated from Pomperaug High School in Southbury CT and attended Southern Connecticut State University. She worked in the Temporary Employment Industry for several years until opening her own agency, Temps +, in 1995. Susan’s single vocation was love, she always put others before herself no matter the cost. Susan was a dedicated caregiver for both her elderly mom and late father, Leo, as well as a loving mother of 10 years.

Susan was a free spirit with an adventurous and spontaneous nature. She will be remembered for her magnetic presence and generous heart. While Susan will be greatly missed, we celebrate the most precious gift of her life and rejoice without presumption, that Susan is now home, embraced in the infinite mercy and love of Jesus Christ.

She is survived by her son, Connor; mother, Marilyn; brother, James and wife, Pamela; brother Brian; Brian's wife and Susan’s best friend, Deidre; brother Leo, and wife Tina; Nephews, Austin; Matthew; Jason; Tyler; and Garrett. The family will receive friends Mon, October 2, from 5pm to 7pm at The Munson Lovetere Funeral Home, 235 Main Street North Southbury Ct 06488.

A memorial mass will be celebrated Thursday October 5, 11:00 am at Saint John of The Cross Catholic Church, 1263 West St, Middlebury CT 06762. Burial will be private.
