Olga Panetta, 95, of Southbury, Passed Away on March 31

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, April 4 from 1 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. at Arthur F. White Funeral Home in Bethpage, New York.

Olga (DiDonato) Panetta, March 27, 1920 – March 31, 2015

Olga (DiDonato) Panetta died peacefully on March 31, 2015 just 4 days after her 95th birthday. She is the widow of the late Aniello “Ed” Panetta, formerly of Plainview, NY and Southbury, CT.

Born in Naples, Italy, she was a twin, the first two of ten children born to Grace Pastore DiDonato and Eugene DiDonato. From the time she came to the United States as a teenager, Olga worked hard, loved her family and abided by her faith in Jesus. She is loved and revered for her selfless devotion to her family.

She leaves behind five children, Robert Panetta, Maria Panetta, Richard Panetta and his wife Antoinette, Barbara (Panetta) Petra and her husband LJ and Diane (Panetta) Deluca and her husband, Victor. She is adored by her eleven grandchildren, Deanna (Makin) Dwyer and her husband Bob, Edward Panetta and his wife Laura, Stephen Panetta and his wife Julia, Jennifer (Petra) Ryan, Alyssa Panetta, Suzanne (Petra) Aiello and her husband Vinny, Diane Panetta, James Petra and his wife Carly, Beth Petra, Sarah Makin and Andrew Panetta. She also leaves behind seven great grandchildren Samuel, William, Luke, Annabel, Chase, Ellison and Emily.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday 4/4 from 1:00-4:00 and 7:00- 9:00 at Arthur F. White Funeral Home in Bethpage, NY. A Mass will be held on Monday 4/6 at 11:00 at St. Martin of Tours Church also in Bethpage, NY. Internment will follow at Long Island National Cemetery.
