Opening Scheduled for New Southbury Memory Care Residence
Multimillion dollar memory care residence set to open next month.

The Watermark at East Hill has announced the grand opening of its state of the art, $2 million memory care residence – The Villa.
The Villa, which will be a self-contained residence on the campus of The Watermark featuring a innovative care model, coupled with a traditional family household design, is set to open on September 12.
The residence will be Connecticut’s newest community designed to help people with Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and other forms of memory loss thrive. The care model, coupled with a traditional family household designed for just 14 residents are designed to invite comfort, contentment and meaningful interaction.

“The Villa is an extraordinary community promoting wellness, happiness and joy.” according to a release from The Watermark.
There are currently 9 private residences left in the 14-residence plan at The Villa.

State and local officials are expected to attend the grand opening ceremony taking place on Wednesday, September 12 at 2 p.m.
