Palace Theater Historian to Speak in Southbury

The Watermark at East Hill in Southbury will host the next meeting of its Men’s Club on Tuesday, January 10 at 8:30 a.m.

Guest speaker Lou Belloisy will present “The History of the Palace Theater.”  Belloisy started working at the theater as a teenager.  He held the job of usher, doorman, candy vendor and projectionist.  Belloisy is now the Palace Theater’s house photographer and historian as well as a projectionist for a Torrington multiplex.
