Paula Carnegie Hansen Dies at 99

Paula Carnegie Hansen, 99, of Heritage Village in Southbury, died on December 24, 2011 at Waterbury Hospital.

Hansen was the loving mother to Sherry C. Croley and grandmother to Charles C. Croley. She is also survived by her two nieces, Susan Lamb and Crista Lu Carnegie, her nephew David Ivers, her great niece, Christina and great nephew Brooks.

Paula was born January 29, 1912. Paula’s many years in Heritage Village were filled with enjoyment and hard work. She was president of the Woman’s Fireside Club and treasurer of the Heritage Village Woman’s Exchange and was active in many other village activities. She will be greatly missed.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, January 14 at 1:00 p.m. at the Southbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, 235 Main St. North. There are no calling hours. Burial will be private.
