Pomperaug High Students Compete at Science Bowl
Three teams of thirteen students each represented Pomperaug High School at the High School Northeast Science Bowl.
From Pomperaug Regional School District 15: On Saturday March 3rd, 2018 three teams of thirteen students each represented Pomperaug High School (PHS) at the High School Northeast Science Bowl, hosted by the School of Engineering at the University of Connecticut (Storrs-Mansfield, CT).
84 teams from 48 high schools across the northeastern United States competed to test their knowledge in all major areas of science and mathematics. Two of Pomperaug’s teams finished in the top 4 of all participating teams. Ed Nyerick, a science teacher at PHS, is the advisor and coach of the PHS Science Bowl Teams.
