Purse Reported Stolen From Gas Station In Southbury: Police

The incident occurred last week on Southford Road, according to authorities.

SOUTHBURY, CT — Southbury police are investigating the theft of a purse from a vehicle at the Wheels gas station on Southford Road, according to authorities.

The incident occurred at about 1:45 p.m. on Thursday as the owner of the brown leather purse was pumping gas in a gray Nissan Rogue at the station.

"The suspects are described as two Black males wearing hoodies and face masks, who left the scene driving a stolen vehicle, described as a 2018 Black Audi A6, bearing CT REG AA95413, [southbound] on RT 67 into Oxford," police said in a release.
