Rain Leads to Southbury Celebration Cancellation

An update from First Selectman Edward Edelseon:

Unfortunately, the Southbury Celebration scheduled for this weekend has been canceled because of the inclement weather forecast for Saturday and Sunday.

The Southbury Celebration has been cancelled due to the inclement weather being forecast for Saturday and Sunday.

Below, is what was planned.

Food! Fun! Fireworks! Please bring your lawn chairs and blankets and get set for a terrific evening of fun and celebration for all ages.

• Food Court from 5:00 to 8:30pm
• Band Concert from 5:30 to 7:30pm
• Southbury Police, Fire and Ambulance personnel and equipment will be on-site providing public safety information.
• FIREWORKS at 7:30pm!!!
