Read Across America Day at Gainfield School
Students and staff members at Gainfield Elementary School in Southbury celebrated Read Across America Day.
From Pomperaug Regional School District 15: Students and staff members at Gainfield Elementary School in Southbury, CT celebrated Read Across America Day with a special Dr. Seuss themed celebration. Students enjoyed Dr. Seuss books, guest readers, costumes and special activities to celebrate the day. Read Across America is an annual reading motivation and awareness program planned by the National Education Association (NEA) that calls for children to celebrate reading on March 2, the birthday of beloved children's author Dr. Seuss.
