Region 14, 15 Make Decision On School Friday

SOUTHBURY/MIDDLEBURY/WOODBURY, CT — A powerful and quick moving winter storm dropped between 6 and 12 inches of snow on the area Thursday, which is leading to a second straight day off from school for students and staff.

School officials said "***All Region 15 Schools are CLOSED, Friday, January 5th, 2018**" NBC Connecticut reports that Region 14 is also closed on Friday, Jan. 5.

Enjoy the long weekend and be safe as wind chills will be running as low as 20 below zero on Friday and early Saturday. More snow is possible on Monday.
