Long Meadow Elementary School Physical Education teacher Mel McVerry was chosen as the Elementary Physical Education “Teacher of the Year” for the State of Connecticut.
The award is presented by The Connecticut Association For Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (CTAHPERD), the professional association for Physical Education teachers in Connecticut.
