Region 15 Superintendent of Schools Unveils Budget Proposal
The proposed budget would increase spending.
SOUTHBURY/MIDDLEBURY, CT — Region 15 Superintendent of Schools Joshua Smith recently unveiled a $70.8 million proposed spending plan for fiscal 19-20, which represents a 2.5 percent increase over the current budget, according to the Republican-American.
Smith said the budget was fiscally responsible but also allows the district to progress forward, the Rep-Am reports. No staffing cuts are being proposed.
