Report: House in Southbury Destroyed in a Fire

A vacant house at 68 Chain Trail was destroyed during a fire late last week, reports the Republican-American.

The house is located in the far west of town and by the time fire crews responded the house was fully engulfed in flames, reports Chris Gardner.

Extinguishing the blaze was made complicated by the fact there is limited access to the house and an engine could not get to the site.

Fire officials are investigating the cause of the fire. No one was injured.
