Report: Southbury Agrees To Fund A Portion of New Animal Shelter
But a non-profit will have to raise most of the funds for the project to happen.

Southbury officials have agreed to fund up to 10 percent of costs needed for a new animal control facility in town, reports Paul Singley of the Republican-American.
The catch is, a nonprofit organization will have to raise the remaining 90 percent within 3 years and shows officials a business plan.
The current shelter is 50 years-old and needs upgrades, and a new facility could cost up to $1 million, the Rep-Am reports.
