Report: Southbury Woman Charged With DUI While 16-Month-Old in the Car

Police say Heather Lynn Seminara, 36, of Old State Road was driving on Strongtown Road around 3 a.m. allegedly under the influence of alcohol with her 16-month-old in the vehicle, the Republican-American reports.

Police say Seminara’s blood alcohol level was twice the legal limit and they also found wine inside the vehicle. The child was released to the custody of a friend.

Police say the state Department of Children and Families is investigating. Police say she almost struck a guardrail on Route 188 and was weaving all over the roadway.
