Road Repairs in Southbury May Lead to Traffic Delays
The road work begins on Monday, June 15.

Road Repairs of Lenape Trail and Portions of Luna Trail and Lee Farm Drive
The Town of Southbury is scheduled to start a roadway resurfacing project for Lenape Trail and portions of Luna Trail and Lee Farm Drive (Lakeside area) on June 15, 2015. The first phase of the project will be to repair the storm drainage on portions of the roads. The first phase is anticipated to take approximately ten (10) working days, weather permitting. The entire project should be completed within six weeks.
The road areas to be repaired are as follows:

Lenape Trail from Lee Farm Drive to Luna Trail
Luna Trail from Lenape Trail to Lee Farm Drive
Luna Trail from House number 120 to 135
Lee Farm Drive from 270 Lee Farm Drive to Luna Trail
The work is being completed in three phases. The initial phase is storm drainage along the edge of the road. The second phase will consist of milling and repaving the roadway surface and will commence shortly after phase one. Once construction is complete, the Town will restore affected areas by loaming, seeding, repairing walkways and driveway aprons.

Please anticipate traffic delays and rough road conditions during construction; however the road will remain open for mail delivery, emergency vehicles, and local traffic. No street parking will be allowed during construction.
