Sacred Heart Church Introduces a New Sign
A communication effort to remind the community of the Parish's core beliefs.

On Sunday, November 12, 2017, Sacred Heart Church hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony for the Parish's new sign. The sign is positioned at the entrance off of Route 172 in Southbury, Connecticut. It invites the community to worship, while also serving as a reminder of Sacred Heart's core beliefs; to re-imagine church, encounter Jesus, and live with purpose.
Father Joe Donnelly introduced the ceremony by reading from the Book of Prayers, " The wisdom of God is beyond all imaging...God unfailingly enlightens our minds to open up new means of sharing with each other all kinds of information, ideas, and aspirations. The discovery of technologies and communication techniques, when used properly can be of great service to the human family, not only bringing help in times of need, but also resources for education, and even spreading our faith and building up the kingdom of God."
