Sacred Heart Church Prepared to Say Goodbye to Long-Time Deacon
The public is invited to attend church this upcoming weekend and to wish him well in his move.
Sacred Heart Church Deacon Chuck Dietsch and his wife, Dorne will be celebrating their last weekend at Sacred Heart Church on July 11-12, 2015, as they prepare their move to Brevard, North Carolina.
Chuck Dietsch has served at Sacred Heart Church in Southbury for 20 years, as the church deacon and a member of the Pastoral Care team.
Deacon Chuck will be giving the homily at the 5:00pm mass on Saturday, July 11, and at the 7:30, 9:00, and 11:00 am masses on Sunday, July 12.

“The community is invited to share in a reception after each mass in the parish hall to wish the Dietschs well as they start the next chapter of their lives,” said Father Joe Donnelly, pastor of Sacred Heart Church. “Both Deacon Chuck and Dorne have left an enduring legacy of care, friendship, and love and we wish them the very best.”
