Several Republicans Eye Board of Selectmen Seats in Southbury
Next Tuesday, local Republicans will have to pick three candidates from out of five people who are interested.

It’s 5 candidates for 3 spots in Southbury concerning Republican Board of Selectmen candidates this fall.
The five candidates include incumbents: Kenneth Korsu, George Bertram and Tom Pietrini. Other candidates are Jason Buchsbaum and Jennifer Naylor, the Republican-American reports.
The party must endorse three people for the Board of Selectmen next Tuesday.

Korsu is a first-term selectman, Bertram worked at Sealed Air Corp. and Pietrini is a former Trumbull police officer and state trooper, who has owned three businesses as well.
