Snow Emergency declared in Heritage Village
Heritage Village in Southbury asking residents to shelter in place during the upcoming blizzard
Due to the prediction of blizzard conditions, a snow emergency has been declared in Heritage Village, Southbury. The following steps are now in place:
All scheduled activities are cancelled beginning at noon , January 26, 2015 and continuing until Monday, February 2, 2015 at 6:00 a.m., unless conditions warrant otherwise.

All Heritage Village Foundation Buildings will close at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, January 26, 2015 and remain closed until conditions warrant otherwise.
All Heritage Village residents are requested to shelter in place to allow our snow removal teams to do their jobs. Please do not travel except for an emergency. Avoid going outside and slipping and falling because of treacherous walkways. Stay off the roads until they are safely cleared.

All Heritage Village Foundations Buildings (Fitness Center, Activities Building, Activities Desk, Library, Fireside, Stable Studios, Meeting House, Winship Barn and Lodge) are closed. Weather will be continually monitored and current information will be broadcast via Heritage Village Channel 14 and hvowner.info.
Residents with a medical emergency must call 911.
