The South Britain Congregational Church’s Art Series is proud to present an “Art Show On the Road,” featuring work by three popular Heritage Village Clubs: The Brush and Pencil Club, the Clay Club, and the Stained Glass Club.
“Art Show on the Road” will begin with a Gala Opening Night on Friday, October 23 from 5 to 7 pm. Refreshments will be served. It continues on Saturday, October 24 from 10 am to 4 pm and on Sunday from noon to 4 pm. Admission is free and all are welcome. The show will be in the church’s Parish House, across the street from the church meetinghouse at 693 South Britain Road (Route 172), Southbury. Free parking is available across South Britain Road.
Works from more than 30 artists will be available for viewing and sale. We expect approximately 80 or more paintings not to mention miniatures, portfolios etc. Artist Stan Rushton will raffle off one of his paintings, and a silent auction will be featured as well.
