Every five years the citizens of Southbury are given an opportunity to provide input to possible changes in the town charter, which documents the way our town operates and is governed. The 2024 Southbury Charter Revision Commission was recently created and populated to collect information in order to organize and recommend any alterations to this document to the Board of Selectmen, and later to the public for a referendum vote in late 2025.
