SOUTHBURY, CT — Three state employees at the Southbury Training School have died as a result of the new coronavirus, according to the Connecticut Post. The Southbury Training School is a large residential home for people with intellectual disabilities.

The Southbury Training School employs more than 1,200 workers and consulting staff and is operated by the Department of Developmental Services. There was no additional information available regarding the deaths due to privacy laws, according to the Post.

The Post reports another state employee, a probation officer at the Stamford courthouse – a man in his 30s, has also died from the coronavirus.
