Southbury "Creative Crafters" Donate Sleeping Mats to Waterbury Mission

Crafting group at The Watermark at East Hill create mats out of plastic bags

What most people throw away after a shopping trip has now been turned into beautiful sleeping mats for people at the St. Vincent DePaul Mission in Waterbury. “Creative Crafters” – a group of women from The Watermark at East Hill in Southbury have been collecting plastic grocery bags over the past few months and have been weaving them into large sleeping mats, which were recently donated to the Mission.
