Southbury Dems Open Campaign HQ, Talk Politics

First Selectman Ed Edelson said the town needs to keep moving forward.

Keeping constituents in the loop is the goal of Southbury Democrats when they opened their campaign headquarters Tuesday.

According to an article in the Republican-American, the Democrats—incumbents running for re-election and those newly seeking office—took the opportunity at the celebration to outline their platforms.

First Selectman Ed Edelson said he believed the town has to be responsive to change and not just go back to the way things once were.

The example he cited, the Republican-American said, was going back to sanding road due to the high cost of salt.
