Southbury Farmers' Market Opens This Month

SOUTHBURY, CT — The Southbury Farmers’ Market will open June 15 and run every Thursday from 3 to 6 p.m., rain or shine, until Oct. 19. The market is located at the Town Hall Green, 501 Main St. South in Southbury.

The Southbury Farmers’ Market is producer only, meaning that all vendors and farmers are directly involved with the growing or producing of the items they sell, according to a statement from the town.

The market is partly funded through matching funds from the Connecticut Department of Agriculture through the Community Investment Act.
