We are making great progress as we recover from the devastating floods of August 18 & 19. Over the past two weeks, the town has held meetings with FEMA to evaluate the damages to homes and businesses as well as town-owned property. Please submit your damages on our website if you have not already at www.southbury-ct.org/emergencycenter.
Governor Lamont has requested a major disaster declaration from the President, which, if declared, would open up potential FEMA funding. This process takes time and we may not have an answer for several weeks. We will update you as we learn more.
