Southbury Honors its Volunteers, Luncheon Planned
Volunteer Appreciation Day is scheduled for later this month and a luncheon will also be held and people are encouraged to RSVP.

Acknowledging that “Southbury is a Town that truly runs on volunteers”, Sunday, October 25, 2015 has been proclaimed Volunteer Appreciation Day in Southbury.
As the proclamation reads, “Let it be known that this day highlights and appreciates the endless hours, countless jobs, and wonderful contributions given to the Town by every Volunteer…”To honor and thank its valued volunteers, Southbury’s Volunteer Appreciation Committee will host a luncheon at B’nai Israel, 444 Main Street North, beginning at 1:00 PM.
Numerous organizations, boards, commissions and individuals have nominated volunteers for special recognition for service “above and beyond”, length of service and other categories.
