Police say the man sent the girl harassing text messages.

According to police, the juvenile and her parents filed a complaint on Sept. 25 about ongoing harassment by Dakota Baumann, 21, of Southbury.

A restraining order was obtained against Baumann on Sept. 24 that prohibited him from harassing or contacting the victim in any manner, police said. He allegedly sent harassing text messages to the juvenile shortly after the restraining order was granted.
