Southbury Man Arrested for Making Pipe Bombs: PD

An investigation started after a pipe bomb was detonated in Woodbury.

WOODBURY, CT — A Southbury man was arrested after a pipe bomb was detonated in Woodbury on April 15.

As a result State Police conducted search warrants on a Greenwich Drive residence in Southbury and a vehicle. Suspect Brian Fluman, 34, of Greenwich Drive was arrested after bomb-making materials, assault weapons and ammunition was found, police said.
Fluman is a convicted felon. He was charged with illegal possession, manufacture and transportation of an explosive device, criminal possession of a firearm, possession of an assault weapon, reckless endangerment and other crimes.
He was held on a $50,000 bond.
