Southbury Man Charged After Being Involved in a Rollover Accident
Police found the man's vehicle on its roof but the driver wasn't present. He was later charged with interfering with a police officer.
Christopher Gelada, 35, of Lakemere Drive in Southbury was charged by police after being involved in an accident on Interstate 84 east on the Exit 15 off ramp on Tuesday, the Republican-American reports.
Police found the car on its roof and the driver was nowhere to be found.
Gelada was walking near Lakeside Road and told police he was the owner but he allegedly changed his story several times as to what happened to cause the accident, the Rep-Am reports. He is charged with interfering with a police officer.
