Southbury Man Found Dead at State Forest in Oxford: UPDATE

The victim's identity has been released Tuesday morning.

OXFORD, CT — Connecticut State Police say they are investigating the untimely death of a Southbury man that occurred in Oxford at the Naugatuck State Forest near Old Litchfield Turnpike.

At 3:15 p.m. Troop A in Southbury and the Connecticut State Police Western District Major Crime and state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection responded to the park for an "untimely death."

State Police at the time said the death appears not to be criminal in nature and there is no threat to the public. The victim has been identified as Jeffrey Bussolari, 64, of Southbury, NBC Connecticut reports. No other details have been released.
