Southbury Man Killed In I-84 Accident in Middlebury: State Police
State Police said the vehicle left the road and struck a rock embankment and the victim was ejected from the vehicle.

MIDDLEBURY, CT — A Southbury resident was killed in an accident that shut down a section of Interstate 84 late Thursday, State Police said.
Sevdi Coma, 48, of Wheeler Drive in Southbury, was killed in the accident. State Police said at 9:39 p.m. Coma was traveling in the area of Exit 17 entrance ramp in Middlebury. Coma lost control of the vehicle while negotiating a left curve and his vehicle began to spin counterclockwise, State Police said.
The vehicle rolled off of the roadway to the right and struck a rock embankment causing the vehicle to rollover. Coma was ejected from the vehicle and would die as a result of injuries sustained in the accident.
