Southbury Man Threw Plate at Officers, Spit at Them and Fought Them: Report

SOUTHBURY, CT — Jeykings Hernandez, 35, of Poverty Road is accused of throwing a plate at police officers, spitting at them and even fighting with them after officers arrived to a Poverty Road house on a report of a domestic disturbance, the Republican-American reports.

The incident occurred Tuesday night and he is charged with numerous offenses and was held initially on a $22,500 bond. Police also learned Hernandez was already wanted on a warrant, the Rep-Am reports. (To sign up for Southbury breaking news alerts and more, click here.)
