Southbury Milling, Paving Work Delayed Due To Weather

Milling and paving originally scheduled to begin this week was delayed due to weather and will start Monday.

SOUTHBURY, CT — Milling and paving scheduled to begin this week in Southbury has been delayed due to weather. The work will now begin Monday.

The work will be conducted 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the following roads: East Flat Hill Road (#185 to #460), Palmer Road, Pascoe Drive, and Silver Beech Road.

Fog sealing of roads recently chip sealed has begun and will continue for about five working days through the end of next week.

Main Street South traffic light work has ended for the week and will continue for two to three more days next week.

The town said in a statement that drivers should be mindful of work crews and use caution. Drivers are urged to use alternate routes if possible.
