Southbury Movie and Playhouse Project Has a Targeted Completion Date
The developer of the project also quashes a rumor about plans for the project.
SOUTHBURY, CT — The new Southbury Riverview Cinema and Playhouse to be located at 690 Main St. South is now expected to be completed by June 2017, the Republican-American reports.
The foundation has been laid for the 42,500-square-foot building, which will feature an eight-screen movie theater, a restaurant, retail storefronts, and two apartments. The project still includes a playhouse for live performance, the Rep-Am reports.
Rumors had circulated that the playhouse feature had been axed from the project, but the developer said that is not true.
