Southbury Movie Project was Delayed, But Back on Track: Report

A timeline for when the project will be completed has been released.

SOUTHBURY, CT - Several residents have asked what is the latest with the planned new movie theater in town.

The project was in fact delayed as the developer redesigned a driveway to save a tree on the site, the Republican-American reports.

But that hurdle is now over and work is beginning again on the project. Footings will be poured soon and the new 8-screen Southbury Riverview Cinema and Playhouse should be open for business in 12 months, the Rep-Am reports.
