Southbury Movie Theater Project Back On Track
The developer on the project said there were some delays but he's moved past them now.

Over the past year, numerous Southbury residents have asked what was happening or not happening concerning the approved Southbury movie theater project.
Now we have answers. The project is back on track, and Developer Robert LaFlamme tells the Republican-American that the project was delayed as he had to redesign elements to save a unique tree on the 690 Main Street South site.
Now he’s getting ready to pour the foundation before winter sets in and hopes to open the approved 8-screen theater in time for late summer, the Rep-Am reports. The key with getting the theater to open on time is to get the foundation poured before winter.
