Southbury Pays $400K for Culvert Work

The old pipes are in the process of being relined, which saves money and limits the overall disruption.

Southbury has paid $400,000 for four culvert projects on Old Waterbury Road, Lakeside Avenue, East Flat Hill Road and Lum Lot Road, the Republican-American reports.

Work has just begun on Old Waterbury Road culvert and is ongoing on East Flat Hill Road. The new pipe linings will last up to 50 years and the existing ones were starting to fail, the Rep-Am reports.
