You’re at home enjoying dinner with your family when the phone rings……You pick it up, “Hello!”
You hear a message “This call is from the Department of Social Security Administration. The reason you have received this phone call from our department is to inform you that we just suspended you Social Security number because we found some suspicious activity. So, if you want to know about this case just press one, thank you.”
Is this a scam????? YES it is!!! What does that even mean to have your Social Security number suspended??

Remember, NEVER NEVER NEVER give out personal information over the phone. No legitimate government agency will ask you send them a Western Union money transfer to avoid some penalty.
No, there isn’t a warrant for your arrest (trust us, you’ll know if there is). Your grandson is not in jail in Texas and needs an Apple gift card to get out. Etc., etc.
