Southbury Police Donate $500 to the Southbury Food Bank
The officers held an auction fundraising event.

Southbury First Selectman Edward Edelson posted the following message on his Facebook page:
Southbury Police Put Their Money To Feed Others: People always joke about police officers and donuts.
On Thursday, our Southbury Police Association showed their concern for food - in this case food that some people cannot afford. The association made a generous contribution of $500 to the Southbury Food Bank at their first auction fundraising event at the Heritage Hotel (which donated the food and venue).

The presentation was made by Corporal Pat Kenney and Officer Tony Armeno, who is the vice-president of the SPA.
