Southbury Prepared for Series of Next Snowstorms

From Soutbury First Selectman Edward Edelson:

Salt Inventory: More salt was delivered this morning bringing over another 100 tons. This puts us in a good position for the next series of forecasted snow events.

The Board of Selectmen and Finance approved additional transfers of funds to support additional salt purchases. There will be a Town Meeting on February 19th to authorize the transfer.

This comes just in time as snow will fall today, just a little, and we could get a significant snow storm on Saturday, and maybe another one on Tuesday.
