Southbury in Process of Hiring New Public Works Director

A total of 15 people applied for the position.

Interviews for three finalists for the position of Southbury’s public works director are being scheduled, Chris Gardner reports for the Republican-American.

The interviews will likely take place on Friday or during the coming week, the paper reports. Following this, a recommendation will be submitted to the Board of Selectmen.

Tom Crowe, the current public works director is retiring and will hold the position till it is filled.
