Southbury Releases Thanksgiving Holiday Schedule

The town has released the holiday schedule for the transfer station, library, and other public facilities.

All Southbury Town Offices, Southbury Library, Senior Center, Parks & Recreation Building and Connecticut Probate Court District 22 will be closed on Thursday, November 24 and Friday, November 25, 2022, in observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday.

Additionally:

  • The Transfer Station will be closed on Thursday, but open on Friday and Saturday at its regular hours 7:00 am - 3:00 pm.
  • The Southbury Public Library will be closed on Thursday and Friday but open on Saturday at its regular hours 9:30 am - 4:00 pm and Sunday, 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm.

    • Please also be aware of a road closure for Southbury Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving Day: Main Street South will be closed the Southbury Green to Playhouse Corner from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Motorists are advised to use alternate routes.
