Southbury Republican Board of Selectman Member Not Seeking Reelection

Six is enough for GOP Board of Selectmen member Chad Landmon, who announced he plans not to seek a fourth-term on the board, reports the Republican-American.

Landmon, an attorney, said he plans to remain active in town, but felt six years on the board was long enough, the Rep-Am reports.

He said he prided himself on working with everyone on the board, no matter which political party they belonged to.

The Rep-Am reports Landmon had distanced himself from a couple of other Republicans on the board, who had drawn controversy recently for sharing executive session matters with residents.
