Southbury Republican Recruited to Run Against Esty
The potential candidate said he'll consider running against the Democratic 5th District incumbent.
The Republican-American reports that GOP leaders have asked Joseph Stango, of Southbury, who works in West Hartford for a financial services company, to run against Incumbent U.S. Rep. Elizabeth Esty, D-5.
Stango told the newspaper’s website that he will talk with friends and family over the holidays and make a decision.
