Southbury Resident and Former MLB Player Darren Bragg Arrested
The former baseball player allegedly punched an off-duty cop and damaged his car.

Former Major League Baseball outfielder Darren Bragg was arrested by State Police in Southbury Thursday night, the Republican-American reports.
According to the paper, Bragg, a Southbury resident allegedly punched an off-duty police officer, keyed his car and dented the officer’s car with punches during an argument on Main Street South.
Bragg, 45, was charged with first-degree criminal mischief, third-degree assault, breach of peace, sixth-degree larceny and threatening, the paper reports. He was released on Thursday after posting a $10,000 bond.

According to MLB, Bragg played college baseball at Georgia Tech University and made his MLB debut in 1994 for the Seattle Mariners. His last appearance was in 2004 for the Cincinnati Reds.
